I hope you're all safely social distancing, and starting to find the right groove for working from home. In all honesty, it's been an adjustment for all of us. 

As we start remote/distance learning, we thought it might be good to send some tips to help you check in on yourself, as we're all probably feeling a little isolated, though surrounded by family.  We've created a "Mindfulness Mondays" Google Classroom with Youtube Videos, Images, and Time Management tips. The class code is: qvj3piw  . We will be updating it throughout the week. Use what you'd like. And even though it says "Monday", it's there for you all week.

Good Morning All!!!

 

Week 3, here we come!!!  Have you gotten a routine down?? How's your energy level? Are you staying connected with friends and family? 

 

This is definitely a surreal time in our lives, and it's important to stay grounded. This article has some simple tips (some you MAY have heard before) that can help you with that! Mindfulness Article 

 

And, this is just a simple reminder that it is ok to feel positive, even though we are surrounded by negativity and uncertainty...in fact, it's super important to focus on the positive!

Welcome to our 2nd full week of remote learning. Judging from the few emails the counselors are getting from teachers, you're all doing an awesome job keeping up with your work!  

Ms. Miesnik mentioned in her Monday Announcements this morning that GRATITUDE is something that can help us get through this confusing, and anxiety provoking time. This isn't something that comes easily to many of us, so I've attached an activity that you can do with yourself, or with your family, to help remind you of the good things that are part of your life!  

Take just 10 minutes to fill this out, or just think about, as you go through your day.  If you like it, print it out and post it somewhere to remind yourself to look for the good around you!

In times like these, our mental health can have a major impact on our physical health, so make sure you're taking care of YOU!!!  The best way to not get overwhelmed by what's going on around us, is to control what you can control, and not allow the other stuff to take advantage of you. This image highlights some good things to do.
