Jim Flannery joined MSPC, the company that has provided auditing and review services for Marist High School for many years, in 1979 and became a Principal in 1984. He has been a member of the Executive Committee for over 20 years and was later elected as Managing Principal in October 2008. Jim’s vision for firm growth involves both internal development and focus on global, industry and service expertise to deliver MSPC’s clients the innovative resources they require to succeed both domestically and globally in future markets.
Jim's career has provided him opportunities to serve clients in the hospitality, restaurant, distribution, manufacturing, farming and construction industries. He founded the firm’s IT Solutions Group that provides technology consulting on various platforms. Jim enjoys working with Privately Held companies providing them with the support and structure they need to deal with issues related to goal/budget setting, mergers and acquisition, financing options and transition planning. Planning for life changes in business, college funding, retirement planning and listening to his clients' concerns enables him to provide solutions that are responsive to their needs.
Jim earned his Bachelors of Science in Accounting at the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University. In addition to having his degree in accounting, he has his Series 7 and 66 licenses for Investment Advisor Representative.
Among his philanthropic interests, James has been a long-time volunteer and coach for boys and girls basketball and soccer and has also served on a number of committees. Holy Trinity Church, Gateway Chamber of Commerce, and Somerset County Republican Committee are just a few of the boards that Jim has been seated on throughout his involvement within his community.
Jim currently resides in Bridgewater, New Jersey where he spends his time with his wife, Pat, their four children and five grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, boating and is looking to improve his round of golf. Furthermore, Jim has earned his Merchant Marine Captain Pilots license.
