Francis P. Anderson, 79, affectionately known as "Frank" always proud of his Irish heritage, died on St. Patrick's Day. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his home. Born Nov. 30, 1938, in Hoboken, he was the son of the late Clara Kemmett Anderson & Alexander Anderson.
Frank was a graduate of St. Michael High School in Union City where he was Captain of the Football Team and Seton Hall University, South Orange, where he obtained a B.A. degree in Theology. He was a fan of Coach Bear Bryant: the Alabama & Notre Dame Footfall Teams & country music. He was a U.S Army Veteran serving with the 101st Airborne Division.
Frank was a teacher at Marist High School, Bayonne for 48 years before retiring in 2015 Simultaneously, he worked 35 years as a freight supervisor with American Airlines at Newark Airport. While at Marist he was the Coach of the soccer and football teams. He was Alumni Director and transportation supervisor.
Beloved husband of Carol Kindler Anderson. Devoted father of Colleen MacDonald & her husband Alan & Sharon Feniello & her husband Mark. Loving grandfather of Taylor & Marky Feniello & Deirdre & Bridget MacDonald. Dear brother Alexander Anderson, Phil Day & the late Robert, Arlene & William Anderson.
Visitation is Wed. 4-8pm at Greenville Memorial Home. Gather at the funeral home on Thur. March 22, 2018.. Mass St. Vincent dePaul Church corner Ave. C & West 48th Street, Bayonne at a time to be announced. Cremation Private.
