Marist freshman and honor student, Thea John was invited to represent Marist High School at the 2009 National Student Leadership Conference being held on college campuses in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, CA, Chicago, IL, and New York, NY. Thea was chosen for this special program based upon her consistent academic achievements and leadership potential.
For the past 20 years, a select group of student leaders from across the country and around the world have come to the NSLC for a truly unique experience. At the NSLC, Thea will gain an insider’s perspective on future careers as she will meet nationally renowned leaders in various fields and take exclusive trips and tours. Thea said, “I am very happy to be part of this great program. I am really looking forward to it.”
Upon completion of an NSLC Program, Thea will be awarded an Academic Transcript, Letters of Recommendation, and a Certificate of Achievement to include with her college applications. Thea will also have the opportunity to earn up to three college credits from American University.
