Marist Holds Hall of Fame Induction

The newly inducted members of the Marist Hall of Fame.

On Saturday, November 21, 2009 Marist High School honored the very best from among its entire community at the school’s Fifth Annual Hall of Fame Induction celebration and dinner. Over 250 guests attended the event that took place in the Marist auditorium. The Hall of Fame celebration honors individuals who either have gone on to prominent business and professional careers in all disciplines, or who have actively supported MHS through the years.

Inducted as the Class of 2009 were Msgr. William J. Fadrowski ’62 for Spirit of Marist; Br. William Maske, F.M.S for Spirit of Marist; John B. Wilson ’65 for Spirit of Marist; John K. Mc Nally, D.D.S ’63 for Distinguished Service; Hon. Thomas P. Olivieri ’67 for Professional Achievement; August D. Pellegrini, D.D.S. ’78 for Professional Achievement; TaraWalker ’01 for Athletic Achievement and the 2001 Lady Knights Basketball Team for Team Achievement.    Each was selected by committee vote based on nominations received earlier in the year.

The Hall of Fame event is one of two premier annual fundraisers on the school’s calendar. All funding events ensure that Marist High School may continue to provide current students with the very best academic, spiritual and athletic opportunities.
