Marist High School Student to Participate in the National Hispanic Recognition Program

Marist High School junior, Diana Betancur was chosen to participate in the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP). This program identifies outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students based on their PSAT/NMSQT scores and grade point averages. The College Board provides the names of selected students to subscribing colleges, universities and organizations.

The NHRP has selected 5,100 students from a nationwide total of 200,355 high school juniors who took the 2007 PSAT/NMSQT and identified themselves as Hispanic/Latino. In addition to their PSAT/NMSQT scores, the program requires a minimum GPA of 3.0.
