
The latest members to be inducted into the Marist High School National Honor Society.
Marist High School has inducted 19 new members to its chapter of the National Honor Society.
The goal of the Marist Chapter of the National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all students of Marist High School. Membership in this chapter is based upon scholarship, service, leadership and character. Juniors eligible for membership must have a cumulative average of 90% or better at the end of their first five semesters at Marist.
The new members of NHS were inducted on April 28th. NHS Moderator, Ms. Alice Miesnik organized the ceremony. Family members and friends were in attendance to witness the induction of the new NHS members. A light reception followed.
The following students of the class of 2010 were inducted into the Marist Chapter of the National Honor Society: Angelica Briones, Ashley Canillas, Keysha Dacasin, Angela A. Davila, Jelene Dela Cruz, Jazmyn Duncan, Amira El-Adle, Amro Elhalim, Inigo Hermann, Erika Blanche Marasigan, Kevin Menendez, Melissa Molyneux, Beatrice Nyantakyi, Clinton Ogega, Madeleine Ramos, Brittany Rojas, Henry Sze, Camille Faye Verano, and Chelsea Williams- Diggs. Congratulations to all of the new members.
