Dress Code

Below is the dress code for Marist High School. All students are expected to adhere to the dress code fully.

Boys
Shirts/Ties: Light blue oxford cloth button down dress shirt with school monogram. Shirts must be properly buttoned and tails tucked. No undergarments of any kind can be visible. Uniform tie must be tucked to the neckline of the shirt.
Slacks: Tan Docker style pants with school monogram. Slacks must be worn at waist level with a simple black or brown belt.
Sweaters: School sweater only. No other article of clothing may be worn over the school shirt.
Shoes: Boys are required to wear low-cut dress shoes of a conservative color (black or brown). The dress code forbids boots, sneakers, or any footwear made by an athletic company such as: Nike, Reebok, Pony, Adidas, and Puma.
Jewelry: Small stud or small loop earrings (1 per ear). Pierced jewelry is allowed only in the ears.
Shaving: Clean shaven, except for a well-trimmed mustache. Side burns to the middle of the ear. Goatees or beards of any kind are not permitted.
Hair: Clean, neat, and combed. No extreme hair styles/colors are permitted.
Other: Team shirts are allowed (over shirt and tie) for first game and championship events only.
 
Girls
Blouses: Light blue oxford cloth button down collar with school monogram. Only top button of blouse may be open. Blouse must be tucked. No undergarments of any kind may be visible.
Skirts/Slacks: Uniform knee-length pleated navy blue skirt or loose fitting navy blue Docker style slacks with school monogram worn with a simple black or brown dress belt.
Sweaters: School sweater only. No other article of clothing may be worn over the blouse.
Shoes: Girls are required to wear low-cut dress shoes of a conservative color (black or brown) worn with blue knee socks. The dress code forbids boots, sneakers, or any footwear made by an athletic company such as: Nike, Reebok, Pony, Adidas, and Puma.
Jewelry: Small stud, single loop dress earrings (quarter size or smaller), or other modest dress earrings (1 per ear) may be worn. Pierced jewelry is allowed only in the ears.
Hair/Makeup: Hair must be clean, neat, and combed. No extreme hair styles/colors are permitted. Makeup may be used in moderation.
Other: Team shirts are allowed (over blouse) for first game and championship events only.
