Application Process
Eighth grade students wishing to attend Marist must complete the following requirements:
  • The CO-OP Entrance Exam will be administered by the Archdiocese of Newark on Friday, November 7, 2008 at many Catholic high schools throughout the Archdiocese.  Marist High School is an Archdiocesan test site; our school code is 820. These scores will be forwarded to the schools the student has designated. An Archdiocesan Application that includes grades from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades as well as the principal's recommendation should also have been forwarded to the student's first, second, and third choice schools. For further information, contact www.ctb.com/coop.
  • Pick up a Ninth Grade Applicant Record from Marist.
  • Fill out the top portion (Name, address, etc.)
  • Have your grammar school fill in the bottom part with your 6th, 7th and 8th Grade grades.
  • Include your CO-OP test score or most recent standardized test scores from grammar school.
  • Make sure your grammar school mails or faxes (201-437-6013) your application to Marist.

You will be notified by mail of your acceptance status.
