Graduation Requirements

The following are required in order to graduate from Marist High School:

  1. Religion for each year of attendance at Marist High School
  2. Four years of English
  3. Four years of Social Studies
  4. Four years of Mathematics
  5. Three years of Science
  6. Two years of Foreign Language
  7. One semester of Computer Skills I
  8. One semester of Computer Skills II
  9. SAT Prep Course
  10. One semester of Art
  11. One semester of Writing
  12. Participation in Physical Education, One quarter of Health, One quarter of Driver Education
  13. Fulfillment of all financial obligations to Marist High School
  14. The successful completion of all courses for which a student is registered in his/her senior year at Marist High School

Full year courses earn 5.00 credits; one semester courses earn 2.50 credits; quarter courses earn 1.25 credits

Service Hours

The following year levels must complete a minimum requirement of service hours for a non-profit organization in order to begin the next school year:

Freshman 10 Hours
Sophomores 20 Hours
Juniors 30 Hours
Seniors 40 Hours

A Marist student will graduate after having given 100 hours of service in all. The completion of these hours will be incorporated into the religion grade.
