As a college preparatory school, Marist offers a comprehensive course of study to equip its graduates with the fundamental and advanced skills needed for college admission. Marist expects all of its students to attain their highest level of academic success. This is achieved by presenting a variety of teaching methodologies so that particular learning styles can be accommodated. The core curriculum includes courses in English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Religion, Science and Foreign Language. Students are also required to take courses in Fine Arts, Writing, Computer Applications and Physical Education. Electives are scheduled based on individual interest.
To challenge the most ambitious and gifted students, a full roster of Honors courses is offered each year. Advanced Placement courses are offered to qualified students. Marist is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.

RELIGIOUS STUDIES The Religious Studies Program is a vital part of the school curriculum. The students are required to take religion for each of the four years that they are enrolled.
