Available Courses

Marist High School is a college preparatory school which offers four levels of study:  Advanced Placement, Honors, College Preparatory, and College Preparatory Academic. In addition, the Champagnat Scholars Program is designed for gifted and talented students and the Focus Education Program is offered for those students who have been diagnosed with a learning disability.  Student placement is evaluated annually or more often when warranted.  Although emphasis is placed on the core curriculum, electives in a variety of disciplines, including art and computer technology, are offered on all levels.

Weighted Courses
Advanced level honors courses and advanced placement courses receive additional weighting in the computation of a student’s average. An honors course has a weight of 1.04; an advanced placement course carries a weight of 1.08. All other courses have a weight of 1.00.
