Academics

Marist offers a challenging and comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare all of our students for college. Emphasis is placed on core curriculum offerings, ensuring that each and every student builds a solid foundation for future success. We also offer three levels of study: Advanced Placement, Honors and College Preparatory.

A wide-range of electives are offered during the junior and senior years, including courses such as Criminal Justice, Studio Art, Anatomy and Physiology, and Microsoft Certification. Opportunities to gain college credit while at Marist are available through Advanced Placement and on-line courses. Advanced Placement courses presently offered include American History, European History, English Composition, English Literature, Calculus, Studio Art and Spanish.

Several special programs enhance the overall offerings of Marist. The Champagnat Scholars Program is an advanced curriculum designed for academically gifted students. The Focus Program provides academic support, organizational and study skills to students who are in need of learning accomodations. An in-house tutoring program is provided by the members of the National Honor Society.
